We're thrilled to announce a new event for the neighborhood. On Saturday, October 11th, resident expert Arthur Lee Jacobson will give a tree tour to neighbors!

The tour will be throughout Montlake and meet up info will be provided upon registration.

October 16 Gateway Parks Fall Fundraiser

Did you know that there are two Community Owned parks in Montlake? New for this year, we are having a fundraiser at Oxbow.

Come enjoy food and wine from Cafe Lago and Oxbow, learn more about the parks, and meet neighbors.

You don’t want to miss this! Tickets are $15/ticket. Limited capacity of 50 people, so sign up soon.

Meet Local Government Candidates

Come and meet local government candidates at the Montlake Community Center on 9/29 at 6:30pm. Hosted by the Capitol Hill Community Council, East Lake Community Council, and Parks Foundation.

Art in Montlake Art Walk on 10/2

After an eight year hiatus, Gretchen Gammell returns!   We are thrilled to announce the long awaited solo exhibition of our longest tenured artist.  Join us on opening night for an intimate evening with the artist in celebration of this beautiful and thoughtful work she has shared with us.

ShellBodies, opens October 2nd from 5-7pm at Hall Spassov Gallery. The artist will be in attendance. This is a family friendly evening, all ages welcome.  Enjoy light refreshments. 

Fall Fest at the Community Center

On Friday October 26th from 5-7:30pm, Seattle Parks and Recreation is hosting a Fall Carnival at the Montlake Community Center. A family friendly event with games, candy, crafts and a cake walk. See flyer details.

WSDOT will be hosting a quarterly meeting on October 1st from 8:30am-10:00am on zoom to review the updates on the Programmatic Agreement for the SR520 Project.

November is just around the corner and the Turkey Trot is returning to Montlake on Thursday 11/27. Proceeds benefit the University District Food Bank.
