2026 Montlake Garden & Art Tour RecapRain showers truly turned into Montlake flowers as over 210 attendees strolled through Montlake at the Garden & Art tour, held Saturday, June 27th. It was a joyful day of exploring hidden gardens and art, connecting with neighbors and building community. Thank you to the garden hosts and artists who opened their beautiful homes to the tour, the many neighbors and friends who volunteered to make this a welcoming and fun event, and our wonderfully supportive Montlake businesses who opened their doors with refreshments and artwork. Special thanks to Emily Oot for creating our Garden Tour logo, Michele Kellett for her Arboretum-inspired notecards and gear items, and Café Lago for hosting the Check-In desk. Do you know of someone with an outstanding or unique garden who should be considered for next year’s tour? Please reach out to gardentour@montlake.net and let us know. Photo credits: Jan Hurley. Hub volunteers have gear to help the community organize and support our neighbors in meeting their basic needs until help can arrive from outside after a large disaster. Build a Tiny Home: Do you want a chance to work with your Montlake neighbors on a very rewarding project? Come build a tiny home! We are looking to see if there is interest in signing up a group from Montlake for a day at the Hope Factory; we would need 6-12 people who can make a commitment for the day. No experience is required, and anyone 16 or older is welcome. Fill out this interest form!
