Hi Montlake!

The rain is officially here in Seattle, but don’t worry- we have lots of great things to brighten up your autumn. Thank you to everyone who came out to the Fall Fundraiser. We raised over $1,400 to benefit the East and West Gateway Parks! Keep reading to learn about neighborhood updates and community events.

📰Call for Content! Printed Flyer 📰

Would you like to write something in our upcoming printed flyer? It will go out in January. Content should be 250-400 words and include an image. This could be a recipe, a book report, or neighborhood history. Subject to MCC Board review. Please email content/questions to president@montlake.net. Submissions due by December 7th.

Montlake Emergency Hub Prep Team Needs YOU!

Montlake community members are in the process of setting up an Emergency Hub in our neighborhood.  We are in the grant writing phase of the process to provide us with funding to purchase supplies and get the Hub up and ready for practice runs and actual emergencies. 

We are reaching out to community members who might be interested in participating in the Hub in any capacity. 

All levels of assistance are appreciated, and all levels help. Some needs include:

• helping with practicing emergency scenarios

• donating supplies

• assisting with our grant application

• participating as a core member of the Montlake Hub
